These are flattened beads that can be added behind a normal bead or stacked to add weight and colour to your patterns. Simply thread on your usual bead to your hook, then add a Neck Ring in a contrasting colour, then dress your pattern as you would normally do – the Neck Ring adds a splash of colour to the thorax of your fly and adds a little more weight – saving you from adding lead to the underbody – resulting in a slimmer pattern!
