Description A BACKYARD in NOWHERE is a wild adventure chasing giant pike in a giant landscape. A film that mixes Western and “Gonzo” elements with traditional fly fishing. Inspired by stories of giant Northern pike, a trio of fly fishers set out to explore the remote Innoko River in Alaska. They end up getting a whole lot more than they bargained for– generous servings of booze, taking the law into own hands and gun slinging– challenges that need to be overcome to find the giants. This is a very dramatic film – awesome giant pike, characters and the post production is simply stunning! Definitely not your “normal” fly fishing DVD – this has a Quentin Tarantino feel to it… liberally sprinkled with superb fishing, great pike action and with some stunning fish captured this is not your average fly fishing film!
