Description From Veevus of Denmark comes a brand new material for them – BODY QUILL. I am rather proud to have been involved in the development of this product – it is a multi stranded Mylar-tinsel – a flat, synthetic material that is approx’ 2 mm in width. Very similar to the Hends Body Quill but with more depth of colour – great to use for midge and dry fly bodies, butts, heads and also as ribbing. As the material is translucent, the more layers you add to your pattern the deeper the colour. And try tying in two contrasting colours for a suberb effect. And – wrapping over a white thread base or a silver holo tinsel base makes the fly body really glow … Try coating your wrapped body with UV Resin – the colours are really enhanced! There is a full 30 METRES of material per spool!
