Description From the Veevus Company of Denmark comes a range of materials that have been causing a storm in the fly tying community – VEEVUS THREADS! The Veevus GSP thread is manufactured from continuous fibres of gel-spun polyethylene. The thread has been designed with a slight twist preventing it from opening up, and thereby making tying with it a joy – it lays completely flat and is very easy to split for entering dubbing etc. This is probably the smoothest thread available to spin hair with. Available in five thicknesses – 30 Denier – approx’ 18/0 – the thinest GSP thread available today. 50 Denier – approx’ `14/0 – the most practical sized GSP for tying small patterns. 100 Denier – approx’ 10/0 – great for larger patterns. 150 Denier – approx’ 6/0 – ideal when flattened for deer hair patterns. 200 Denier – approx’ 3/0 – incredibly strong; brilliant for predator and saltwater patterns. 75 metres per spool – Available in Black and White – which takes marker pens.
