This is a very fine (diameter) pearl braid with a dyed core giving it a dual colour depth that will add that little extra to any fresh or saltwater pattern. The material is fine enough to wrap on a hook shank, giving you a superb segmented body – or match the colour with thread and lash a length to the outer side of your hook shank, leaving a tag end past the hook bend for a superb extended body pattern. The Olive and Chartreuse colours are ideal for caddis Pupa bodies – a perfect replica of a caddis body surrounded by the separating pupal shuck filled with air bubbles. This is the current favourite material of Stuart Crofts for micro midge patterns – also makes a superb Bloodworm pattern! 3 Yards of material per pack.
