Being transparent allows you to use various thread or floss underbodies to create striking colour effects. Each Pack contains 20 strips which are placed in opposite directions on a card. Simply peel one off and tie in at the finer end and wrap up the body of your fly. The quills are 4 inches (10 cm) so depending on your hook size, you should get at least two flies from each strip. The printed quill is on a clear film which enables you to partially see through these quills to the underbody, giving your flies that amazingly sought after translucency. These are a superb match for almost any pattern from midges, buzzers, and nymphs to dry fly patterns.
