The bobbin holder has a hardened steel tip insert and countersunk feed that will allow thread to glide through the tube for threading and tying. The bobbin drag control has a large adjustment zone for fine tuning thread tension to your personal liking. The “Magnum” has a larger diameter tube for thicker threads. Maybe not the most elegant of bobbin holders but it works! – I was pleasantly surprised as to how comfortable this tool feels in the hand and the drag system works extremely well.
