Soft enough to wrap onto a hook shank, catch down over a base of thread wraps to ensure the lead does not slide on the shank then pinch off once you have added enough wraps. The “Small” is 0.4mm in diameter – the “Large” is 0.6 mm in diameter. Aproximately 50 grammes of lead per bulk spool.
