Description Sourced from a reputable source here in the UK comes this ROE DEER HAIR. Being harvested in the Winter, the animals’ coat is very dense and strong, giving you some superb hair for tying. Roe Deer Hair is not quite as fine as Coastal; a natural fine hair with tan and black tips and light grey on lower part of hair; hair length approx. 2cm to 2.5 cm ( 1 inch) with very little under fur. This type of deer hair is excellent for Comparaduns, Caddis Flies & small Hoppers amongst many other flies. Each patch measures approx. 3 inches by 3 inches. (8 cm square)
