Description One of the most useful materials for fly tying – PEACOCK HERL is naturally a blue-green colour, but you can turn it bronze by hanging it outdoors in direct sunlight. This herl is still on the stem – the herl nearest the butt of the stem is the widest, it decreases in size as you get closer to the eye. The herl at and just below the eye is superb stripped of flue and wrapped on the hook shank. Each “stick” is a minimum of 10 inches in length, giving you masses of usable herl ! 2 matched sticks per pack.
