These are essential hackles for creating the most beautiful traditional Irish Mayflies or mayfly Emergers! These hackles are also great for loch style fishing flies – for tying emergers or standard wet flies. Try a French Partridge hackle in place of a Grey Partridge hackle for something different. As well as essential for traditional North Country Spider patterns, a turn of hackle at the thorax of a pattern adds legs – and a kick on a Jingler pattern.
