The material comprises of a superb mix of differently textured thin mylars with a specially treated edge for winding. The make-up is approx. 20% pearlescent cactus chenille fibres with the rest being clear fibres. This results in the Baitfish Flash having a real intense depth of colour, plus a real sparkle and flash. All you need to do to make baitfish and other patterns is wind Emulator Flash two or three turns, tie off, add some Holographic Eyes and form a head with Clear Cure Goo and you have a great fish catching fly. Try using the Fish Skulls for a superb weighted pattern… As the material is man made and will not rot in saltwater and is very strong, why not substitute Baitfish Emulator for more traditional materials like bucktail on your baitfish flies. The length of fibres is 5 1/2 ” minimum of 20″ of material per pack – only produced in Pearl.
