Description I am delighted and proud to offer what I consider to be the finest CDC plumes I have ever tied with – from SWISS CDC of Riazzino, Switzerland. The company was established in 2002 by three fly fishermen who have a passion for and years of experience in tying with CDC between them. As a matter of principle, Swiss CDC only offer duck CDC taken from winter feathers. They made this decision on the basis of the significantly better quality. Ducks breed less in the winter, which means that the appearance of the feathers is considerably better. In the warmer seasons, the breeding ducks are subjected to heat and even greater burdens. The result is of such superior quality that it has become a firm favourite of world-famous fly tiers, including Leon Links, Jean-Paul Dessaigne and Oliver Edwards.
