Description Designed and hand crafted by Ainslie Kelly of Derbyshire, England comes the FEATHER FOLD BLOCK. The FeatherFold Block has been designed to enable you to fold CDC or other feathers for dubbing loop / split thread presentation to the hook. It can also be used with a variety of other natural and synthetic materials. It has as nominal 40, 35, 25, 20, & 12 mm wide slots each having 0.7 mm width and 5mm depth; the depth allowing for a parallel 5mm separation between the stem and the Materials Clamp edge. The slots will accommodate a range of feather sizes and for increased fibre density, up to 4 CDC feathers at a time. High quality construction and crafted using sustainable FSC and PEFC Certified Hardwood Timbers, (This Item uses Danish Oiled Sycamore & Black Walnut), the FFB comes complete with a transparent polycarbonate Materials Clamp and a 0.6 mm silicon ‘rubber’ anti slip / scratch base.
